Itinerary

Day 1:Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Ouarzazate

The 3 Days Tour from Agadir to Marrakech begins in Agadir, heading east through the lush Sous Valley to Taroudant, a town often called the “Grandmother of Marrakech.” Explore its bustling souks filled with colorful carpets, traditional jewelry, and handcrafted leather goods. Stroll along the historic medina walls and feel the charm of a smaller Marrakech with rich history dating back to the Saadi dynasty.

Continue to Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, where fragrant fields stretch across the hills. Visit a local cooperative to learn about saffron harvesting and pick up a few high-quality spices for your culinary adventures. The route continues through Taznakht, renowned for its handmade carpets crafted from premium wool, showcasing traditional Amazigh designs in earthy tones.

By afternoon, reach the iconic Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most photographed locations. Its ancient red-brick walls have served as the backdrop for numerous films and series, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Day 2:Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge – Tinghir – Merzouga

After breakfast, drive along the scenic Dades Valley, passing dramatic rock formations and countless kasbahs scattered across the landscape. Stop in Tinghir to explore the impressive Todra Gorge, where towering red cliffs frame a tranquil river—a favorite spot for hiking and photography. Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant, soaking in the serene desert environment.

The journey continues through Erfoud, known as the “Fossil City,” with workshops showcasing millions of ancient marine fossils. Arrive at the edge of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga by mid-afternoon, where camels await for a sunset trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ascend a high dune to watch the desert bathe in the warm glow of sunset, a truly magical moment.

End the day at a luxury desert camp or an authentic Berber tent. Savor a traditional dinner under the starry sky and enjoy Berber music around the campfire, fully immersing yourself in desert life before overnight stay.

Day 3:Merzouga – Drâa Valley – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a Sahara sunrise, as the desert transforms into a canvas of shifting colors. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga, where the driver will take you west toward Rissani and the fertile Draa Valley, passing countless palm groves and traditional Berber villages. Stop for lunch along the way, soaking in views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

The route continues through the majestic Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, the highest road in Morocco, offering breathtaking panoramas of the High Atlas Mountains. Descend toward Marrakech, arriving in the vibrant Red City in the afternoon. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation or airport, leaving you with lasting memories of Morocco’s desert, mountains, and rich culture.
